I have read through all these comments ,and may just be being thick , but is there a download available for the driver's handbook for the 2004 XK8 ? I have the 2003 download , is there any significant difference

What made you think I was replying to you and not to the questions about Workshop Manuals?
Graham
[blush] Sorry Graham, I thought that was a reply to my previous post. So now I guess I had better write something useful to the forum and relevant to this thread.
Turns out the original docs on Mediafire (the index at the beginning of this thread was brilliant BTW--thanks for doing that!), are print-protected. While I hate to kill trees, the shop laptop I have with JTIS, EPC, IDS, AutoEnginuity Giotto, etc. has a small and somewhat dim screen, so I wanted just a few printed reference pages (like fuse charts) while debugging electrical issues.
The solution to get around any print-restricted PDF is easy and doesn't involve hacking or dodgy sites or potential adware/malware. Just upload the file to Google Drive (it's free) and once it's uploaded, you can open the file and print right from your browser. (Yes, it's that easy to circumvent the print restrictions.)
I got the tip from this article: https://www.labnol.org/software/prin...f-files/29918/
As they say at work, "Think before you print." But if you have old eyes like mine, I think printing a few pages here and there won't tip your carbon footprint too far into the red. Unless maybe you burn the pages afterward.

Hi,
I purchased an owners manual in Swedish for my XKR 2005. I have a problem that the clock is set as "summertime" (daylight saving) but shows "wintertime"; i.e. 1 hr wrong. So I am looking for the navigation manual, which is apparently a separate handbook.
I think the navigation panel for 2004/2005 is different from e.g. 2003, which I believe can be found in the first post here.
Do you have any ideas where I might find it, in English or perhaps even in Swedish?
Thank you in advance!

I'll have another check in the 2003 manual to see if I can correct the clock. I thought it would get the time via GPS. Usually when chosing GMT it's needed to add +1 for Sweden, but the only option is to chose Yes or No for Summertime/Daylight saving... Now the time actally shown is GMT +2, and Summertime is on.
Anyone else that had this problem?

The 2005MY Driver's Handbook includes the instruction to "see Navigation Handbook" for the clock setting procedure on models with the Nav Panel.
The latest Navigation Handbook I have was published in 2002 for the 2003MY. I think this may be the one you have already seen?

Have you set the Time Zone before setting Summer Time?
