I have to confess to cheating slightly............... unfortunately, that is not my real plate. I spent a few minutes with Photoshop 'creating' it, as I understand it's not a good idea to publish the real plate due to the possibility of various scallywags using it inappropriately.

I would be keen to drop the plate slightly to expose the whole of the grill, or alternatively to go down the old E Type route of having it on the bonnet.

Any thoughts?

From my original post here. Year 2000 XKR. BRG. Coupe. Magnificent condition. Wanted an XK8 since it arrived in the USA in 1997. Had the model on my mantle for years. Found the car March 2012, with 18,000 miles on it.

Hmmm... the Board is not accepting the same photos I'd loaded into the original thread. Will have go with these meager offerings for now.
