As a Note to the rain with the louvers I have a XKR with factory installed ones, have been in my share of downpours will no ill effect, ran through brushless carwash a few times when I was traveling. I do keep in garaged. I've had no problem with dampness. I do wonder as I'm parked and see the heat waves ripple up out of the louvers I'm glad to have them as a heat vent.
