XKR Auto unlock not working

XKR Auto unlock not working
I have a 2005 XXKR 4.2S
I have had an issue with the central locking not working properly in sinc !
when I open the car with remote.. both door locks would actuate open/close 4 times..the same would happen once i want to get out of the car .. as in I would have to pull open the passenger door handle which would then actuate both locks again 4 times and then I could lock the car as normal.
To fix this the garage replaced a micro switch in one of the doors.. cured .. but now have another problem.. when coming to a stop .. select Park.. remove ignition key should then activate the auto unlock.. as in both doors would simeoultaneously unlock and you can exit the car.
This is not happening..
Any ideas anyone ?
Someone did mention that there is a sequence to reset the softare by having the ignition switch on and do some sort of manual locking/unlocking a number of times !

I'm not sure about a 2005 model, but my 2003 xkr does not unlock the doors when you select park and pull out the ignition key. It does, however, unlock the passenger door when I pull the drivers side door handle. It seems to me it is not necessary to automatically unlock because you have to pull the door handle to get out anyway. I'm just saying, that's the way mine has always worked and it seemed normal to me, so, I haven't looked into it. Don't know if this will help you any, but, I think maybe that's the way it is supposed to work. Good Luck.
