Hi Guys, I AM NEW OWNER XKR 2001, 20,000 km, engine sounds a bit noisy when cold, as if blowing engine exhaust, quieter engine later, after driving 10 minutes, Argentina cold weather 10 degrees, this is normal, any reason , sorry for language.

 

cold engine noise is often indicative of initial timing chain tensioner issues. We have a ton of information in the FAQ thread regarding that very thing. Do some reading and inform yourself. Failure of that part is 90% catastrophic to the engine. IF you have a video with some audio to it, we may be able to tell if it is normal or something you need to be really concerned with. Your car doesn't have alot of mileage, however.
