Fuel tank pressure sensor

Fuel tank pressure sensor
I'm getting a P0453 code that keeps setting and won't erase. I've read that this is evaporative emissions sensor input too high. I'm assuming this means that the sensor is bad. Since I don't want to remove the damn tank AGAIN after JUST replacing fuel pump about a month ago, please tell me that this sensor is NOT inside the tank and can be changed without pulling the tank???

It appears that the Fuel Tank needs to be removed to replace the Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor.
Here is the JPEG file I created from the JTIS software's on this sensor removal/install (click on the image when the webpage opens to get a sharper view):

I also included a number of photos I found on the internet showing the sensor part number and where it is located.
The only price I could find for this part was on gaudin jaguar parts.com - List price $141 discount down to $114.
Found a used one on Ebay for $74.

The pressure sensor is on the Evaporative Loss Flange Assembly (the assembly is mounted on top of the gas tank).
Here is what the JTIS says:
Evaporative Loss Flange Assembly
The evaporative-loss flange assembly is mounted centrally on top of the tank.
The flange assembly consists of a removeable steel cap which mounts the evaporative emissions system vapor outlet valves and, if applicable, a pressure sensor.
The external electrical supply to the fuel pump(s) is also made via a connector on the flange.

so the issue was absence of wiring? since i am not a mechanic with low knowledge in repairing cars, i thought that it might be faulty ventilation system, or valve or whatever that keeps the pressure in tank in normal limits. as in boiling cattle that has pressure valve that opens when pressure is too high. if it doesn't work than pressure rises and it could be the reason why that sensor was showing constant high pressure i know, i need to read more

Yes when we replaced the fuel pump we misplaced the wirin for that sensor and we never noticed it. We had a bad maf sensor and thought that was giving us all the codes. Then we shine a light at the tank and see its gone lol. A forum member is sending me a harness he had so I should be good to go!
