Hi Peter,

They are in Malvern.

They have been there for 20 - 30 years.

I haven't heard anything bad about them.

Whenever I drive down that way, they always seem to have a healthy range and number of cars out the front and parked along the road in the immediate area.

I recall someone I was talking to a couple of years ago getting them to do a full restoration of a series 3 10 - 15 years ago and from memory they were pretty happy.

The people running the show seem to have been around for a while.

Nothing definitive but I hope that helps.

I can highly recommend Dixon Matthews at Intermarque in Collingwood and Paul McCreery in Braeside as both did their apprenticeships on Series Threes back in the day and they have both worked on my car to my absolute satisfaction.

Cheers,

Nigel

The last few invoices invoices in Lady P's history file were from them. They were quite detailed which gave the impression that they do good work.

Cheers

Talking to John next week about getting the XKR in for a check

I have a Jag and an Alverstone Red D2A as well.

What is it with the joint Jaguar/LR ownership thing?

Pete

Spooky

On that note I recently went with my son to look at a 4 cylinder version of my GTV6. The owner also had an Alverston Red D2a S!!

Cheers

Hay just a quick note, I use to go to Downshire with my early XF but moved off to Pickards Automotive because the workshop manager and a tech from Downshires brought it. John is a good bloke but if it doesn't work out I would vouch for giving Greg a ring at Pickards.
