The intake manifold of my XJS-12 look a bit dull, how can I clean them without removing them?

Old thread but Spring is here. My preference is =

1 can of foam tire cleaner
Lift hood, no need to mask anything
Spray everything and anything, large dirt/grease deposits may require a bit of brushing with a SOFT brush or cloth
Leave for 10 minutes
Air blow off the remaining foam/suds/dirt residue (leaf blower works well if no EASY air compressor air used.)
The tire cleaner has additives that shine and protect all the plastic and rubber parts.
