My neighbor drives a Cayenne turbo and loves it.
The F pace SVR has a lot of road noise at 75 mph?

I’m hearing that a lot and I’m starting to see and feel why.

Yes the f-pace road & wind noise is much louder . The ride is much much less harsh & has 3 adjustments , I also have the air ride & 48-volt anti-sway bar system as well.

Wow, what a thread. I just picked up a new to me 2019 Ultra Blue SVR with 40k miles and CPO, and was searching what the minimum rotor thickness is as I'm too lazy to walk upstairs and look at the rotor hat or ask the dealer on the phone.
My front brakes are squeaking and have a visibile groove so I'm working with the selling dealer to resolve on Monday. Hopefully I don't end up with a harness nightmare lol.

Most likely new rotors and new pads (I'll request I supply Porterfield RS, those seem to be less noisy).

I had the Porterfield R4S on my old V8 XF with the same big 380mm brakes. Terrific. Low dust, great performance. They were pretty quiet but ceramics can be a little squeaky when cold. Big advantage is low dust...

The OEM setup is great and drives very well. Smooth. Silent. Immediate power even when cold. But - very dusty (and can be a bit 'grabby').

Given your mileage I'd replace the rotors (OEM not cheap but very good) and use Porterfield R4S pads

Would do it yourself (quite easy if you DIY - just remember you have to unwind the EPB on the rear brakes) or have an Indy shop do it. They are straightforward. Dealer is v expensive...

You likely have to replace the brake wear sensor too - they tend to go brittle from the heat and brake when removed. $150? From dealer or $20ish on Amazon or other aftermarket. I've used aftermarket on Jags and LR for years and always worked fine.

Thanks agree! The selling dealer is replacing the rear rotors/pads at their expense and the brakes look easy to do. I have an Autel scan tool thats great for retracting brakes. I'll use it for the next time around.
In a pinch Duralast/GM brake sensors are compatible with our vehicles. I use them on my XJ.

The supercharger coolant pump is also leaking coolant and will be getting R&R. They called today to tell me the rear main seal is leaking, which I questioned and they did authorize it to be repaired for no charge. I just told them to double check it because i dont want a dealer "fixing" something that wasn't broken as invasive as a transmission drop.....

yep I had mine done in march 2024, and in November they want to put pads and rotors on again for $6400! told me there was no warranty on braking parts.

2023 F-PACE SVR in ultra blue with black & white interior to match my wife's 2018 F-Type with tan interior. 33,000+ miles with (knock on wood) no issues. Brakes are like new. Lots of long distance highway driving from the NH seacoast all over the country but nothing like Crazyeurodrivr. Only about 68,000 mile per year (combined) in our 5 vehicles (including 4 Jags). Our E-PACE has only 90,000+ miles on the odometer. The longest I've kept any vehicle was one of my many, many Toyotas and that was for 463,000 miles. Changed the spark plugs once and never had to open the engine, tranny, transfer case or diffs. Got rid of it when new replacement parts were no longer available. The SVR is much louder and ruff riding than our previous 2018 F-PACE S with all the bells & whistles. I too am not a fan of Pirelli tires. Once the OEM tires wore out on our F-Types, XE and XF I've replaced them with upsized Conti DWS tires. Unfortunately, I can't do that on this SVR as it has 21" wheels. Only Pirelli provides 21" staggered tires. I'm tempted to go with 285mm tires on all four corners. I've had fantastic service from Land Rover (nee JLR) Alexandria. Same thing with Jaguar Birmingham during an emergency stop following a high speed hit on a fox during a cross country trek. And, lately, I can say much the same about Bedford LR. I won't mention the less than stellar experiences with other Jag dealers. I have to admit that the Brits have a unique way of assembling things. How else can our steel 2022 Supra weigh 600-700 lbs less than our equally sized aluminum F-Types? Same thing with my wife's Bimmer as compared to our XE. But I do love Jags.
