Default '17 R - Seeking confirmation that Rockers need to be removed to remove Skirts?

Hi All -

I've looked at older threads that seem to indicate that the rockers need to be removed to take the skirts off, but not sure if anything changed with model years etc. Car is a '17 R. Could someone confirm rockers indeed need to come off? Tuner is having trouble wrapping the skirts, in particular the top edge came out a bit ragged on both sides. Trying to figure out if removing and wrapping is a simple or complicated exercise

Thanks so much

Also it was my understanding that you didn’t need to remove the rocker panel to get the side skirt off. In the couple photos that aren’t showing off your hood/fenders the rocker and side skirt are already removed, so these photos aren’t helpful. I’m confused.

Dont be getting your panties in a bunch. The rockers dont separate from the skirts independently.

Just saying. Completely unhelpful and unnecessary to post all of those unrelated pictures.

You know he's spending a lot of dough on his project, needs to take advantage of every opportunity to share it, even if totally unnecessary :-p

Any idea how long it would take to take off/put back on the rockers/skirts? Trying to understand what a reasonable labor charge would be (not referring to the actual wrapping here).

It took us about 5 hours total but 3.5 hours was for the first side since we didn't really know how certain panels and tabs were going to come off and we didn't want to risk breaking anything. The second side was then only about 1.5 hours of work. The trickiest part is trying to remove those door sills without bending or breaking them. See thread.
