Which model and which spoiler do you have? Can you post a photo of spoiler and of central console?

Sounds like you have a fixed wing from factory hence no button. The adjustable one is the stealth one that is flat and clean looking and looks like you dont have one

Do you have a visible spoiler that is fixed to the back hatch? Or is it flat back there but there is a rectangular shaped panel that the Jaguar name is on? If you have a separate traditional style spoiler that stays visible then you have a fixed spoiler that does not move (unless it is the active SVR carbon fiber spoiler which it sounds very unlikely). The other active spoiler is the rectangular shaped plate behind the back window. It comes up at 60mph normally unless the car was ordered with the spoiler delete. The button to raise it manually it works only with the car off and the ignition on. The button for it is located behind the shifter knob on the center console ahead of the cup holders. If you have a factory deleted spoiler you could always add a factory one but it will cost you some money and a trip(s) to a Jaguar dealer. Post some pics and we will be better able to tell you.

Thanks both. I have the adjustable spoiler. It comes up at 75mph and retracts at 50mph…but I don’t have a button!!!

Looks to be a base model V6 in basic trim with almost no options other than the Design Pack, Active Exhaust and Performance seats, and it's also RHD.
An unusual and rare combo I have not seen before which maybe explains why no spoiler up/down button.
It would also help a bit if you told us where you are ie what country, I'll take a WAG at South Africa!

Edit - scrap that WAG, I'm now in favour of the UK.

Looks like you have to clean it on the dyno !!!

I would contact your dealer as that's definitely not right and is an aberration. Hopefully its just swapping the button for the dual button

This may be a stupid question but have you driven the car over 70 mph and have seen the spoiler come up or is it one you are looking at for potential purchase? The reason I ask is the pics look like they are at the dealership as there are no license plates on the car. Normally if it doesn't have a spoiler button that means it wasn't fit with active aero from the factory.

Hi

i definitely works. I’ve owned the car for six months, which is why I know the speeds etc. a friend was behind me on the motorway and said it was really dirty under there which has prompted me to research cleaning it!
thanks
