Default 2021 F type R coupe 8 cyl winter tires question.

I want to drive my car in the winter, I know I must be nuts, what are the best winter/all-season tires that can withstand the cold and a bit of snow? All ideas are welcomed except leaving it in the garage!

Can't advise on tyres as I run summers all year round in the sunny south of England, but you're not nuts for wanting to drive the car all year round! I don't run my car in the snow (we don't get much, if any) as I don't trust other people not to run into me, but I've not had any issues driving in cold conditions (though not excessively sub-zero here).

BTW, you might consider using a more descriptive subject line ("Winter Tire Recommendations"?) as yours doesn't really inform people of what your thread is about.

There are several tire threads that speak to this issue. Several choices have stood out. The most frequently suggested all weather tires is the Continental Extreme Contact All Season tires. They have been run by RickyJay in the most extreme conditions compared to what you’ll encounter. There are others that suggest a set of snow tires on seperate rims. The search function for “all season tires” or winter tires should provide you with a lot to consider.

Find ‘‘em and drive ‘‘em is the best advice.
