Hopefully there's a reboot so I can avoid a trip to the dealer. (still under warranty)

My 2018 back up camera has gone awol a handful of times, normally pops back up after I get back in to leave after parking it. No rhyme nor reason.. dB

 

Have ya checked the condition of your battery? People around here have given some crazy accounts for how low voltage conditions can manifest.

Do you plug your car on a CTEK when not in use?

Yes, still under warranty, was hoping to avoid spending a day at the dealership

I totally understand where you are coming from. I avoid dealers like the plague,

 

Greetings. I'm an avoid-dealer-if-at-all-possible person but in your case, given that a) the reverse camera is a safety feature, b) your car is still quite new and under warranty; and c) the problem could be hardware and/or software related (I'm good with hardware but software mystifies me), I would probably have the dealer diagnose and fix it. Good luck and please us know how this turns out.

Is your F-Type a 2024 or 2023? I see in your signature you have a 2023 F-Type. Anyways, mine is a 2024 and thankfully no electrical issues so far.

Did you do a hard reset of the electrical system, AKA take off both battery cables and holding them together for about 4-5 minutes?
