Question any info on this oem carbon fiber wheel?

Does anyone have any information on this particular OEM F-type wheel? Was this an option? rare option? I know about the more common carbon blade wheels
Anyone have pictures of these on their car?

Thanks

Yep this was an optional style at least up to 2017.

According to my copy of the Oz 2016 Specification & Price List it is 20" only, called "Rotor", code C51N, and it appears to be the most expensive wheel option of them all.

There were two similar ones introduced in late 2014 and, as Nati said, they were available up until the 2017MY.

Depending on base model, in 2015 they were (USD):

$4,500 - F Type
$3,500 - F Type S
$2,500 - F Type V8 S
$2,500 - F Type R

I have them. They are forged and about 5lb less per corner than other oem wheels.

Remember, OEM wheels have to be able to withstand a 45mph curb strike like a land rover defender does....with all the potholes they are a god send when others I know who have lighter wheels have had them get bent.....

They are remarkably easy to clean I may add...like 20 seconds per wheel max......not a small thing after BBS's on prior cars...

Why did they take a lighter wheel and then add carbon fiber and bolts? Seems like a really weird choice.

They look super cool and perhaps that is enough....carbon dashboards and mirror covers also do nothing for a car....it is all looks.
The pieces don't add much obviously to the weight and at car meets people normally really say nice things, even porsche centerlock owners....they are a nice, classy wheel (that are easy to clean). People get that who have awful wheels to clean....I cannot say that enough. I'd be fine if they were just forged aluminum too of course. My goal was to get OEM forged wheels for the curb strike rating...it has paid off many times given roads these days. The other forged wheels are also with carbon bits I think in once case (the SVR carbon brake wheels may not have carbon bits but they are forged too I think).

Most JLR F type wheels were not forged.

Fate-

Wouldn't you know it...my thinking about the wheels today when I went to the dentist with the F-Type, I curbed a damn wheel! First time doing so since I have had the car!!! I could not even get out to look at the damage, until I got home.

I bought them to use as track wheels for my R. Then my dad nicked them for his 400 Sport.
The 400 Sport wheels will now be my tack wheels.
