My 2020 convertible has a rubber stopper on the surface behind the seat near the upper middle. I assume it’s to stop the seat from hitting and maybe muffling the speaker?? I’m thinking of removing it or maybe cutting it in half to gain a little more leg and recline.
Anyone try this or can confirm what it’s for?
thanks

There's a coat hook behind the seat in the area that you referenced...

A coat hook makes sense thanks. However I’m sure most people on this thread would agree it’s a useless feature for us as i couldn’t fit a T-shirt back there....so today I removed it.

This gave me the little extra leg room and recline I needed with room to spare!

At 6’2” I can now straighten out my left leg on the dead pedal and give me the extra recline to make it a perfect seating position.

Highly recommended

I knew someone would ask......it appears it is screwed in from the back which isn’t easily accessible so I cut it off.

It wasn’t easy so use a very sharp thin blade. Sure it’s not the proper way to do it but it’s not easily seen and it’s my car!

As I said it’s well worth the 2 minutes and now the seat adjustment is dictated by my reach to the wheel.

HI, thank you. Does anyone have an exploded view of the seat back ...? so I can see if I can remove it without risking cutting the seat back fabric....

Is the hook fitted to the seat back? I thought it was on the panel behind the seat, so the hook faces forward.
