Default Anyone replace front plastic air splitter?

Barrett sells all three pieces for ~$100 shipped. Curious if this is something that just pops right off, or you need the car on a lift to do it.

There's instructions somewhere on the forum....can't find it right now. The side pieces come off with 4 bolts, can be done with lift. I just did it. Very easy. The main front one from what I remember is more involved but still don't think u need a lift. But will make life easier since not much clearance to get wrench going.

I meant can be done without lift for sides, and probably without for front.

TXJagR,

How is that pdf so clear? I have the digital manual and everything looks so pixilated? Where are those instruction from?

Default Instructions really not necessary

With good lighting and a piece of cardboard to lie on, you can do this without a lift. The three pieces interlock and they fit under tabs on the car. There are 7 or 8 screws. When reinstalling, connect the pieces to each other, tape them together and then offer up the assembly. I did this by myself, but a helper would make it easier. Get the screws started, make sure the sections stay together. Tighten the screws a little bit as you move along the length of the splitter, making sure the sections fit in the tabs. Continue to tighten each screw in turn, until the splitter is fully seated. Don't be disappointed if one of the section pops out of its tab. Loosen the adjacent screws, use a flat blade screwdriver or plastic trim tool to get it back under the tab. I have the splitter I took off, will get some photos and add them

Some confusion here.
This is a damn near 10 year old thread, and it is about replacing the front splitter/diffuser piece not the three bits of plastic trim on the underside of the front under-tray.
How do I know?
Coz I busted that splitter some eight years ago now and bought and fitted a new one!
The splitter/diffuser does not interlock with the under-tray at all, instead it is bolted/screwed to the front bumper cover.
It's just that you need to remove the two outer pieces of plastic (winglets???) to remove the under-tray to then access the splitter.
