You are absolutely right. Your end result is beautiful.
BTW, I also blacked out my tail lights to lessen the red/orange conflict.
How did you do the black tail lights and how does it look when the lights are on?
Is your car a 2014 or 2015? I like the color you choose for your wheels? How do you like the nitto tires and do you feel any handling difference in the brand change and width good or bad?
Yours came out awesome. I think there is no one size fits all when it comes to things like these preferences.
I was going for the orange because I thought it would bring the attention to the wheels as well as add contrast to my car and be a little more exotic looking.
I used silver caliper decal because they accent the aluminum around the wheel. These cars are just stunning period!
Aw hell, now I think I might go with orange. You guys inspired me and so my to do list now is the calipers, blackout tail lights, back up lights, and mirror turn signals. Now only to find enough time at home to do it.
I picked up mine out of South Carolina in December, but is now happy with me in Florida.
It is a 2014 and mine also came out of Florida. Ft Lauderdale actually. I live in Pensacola and went there to pick it up in Oct. 2016. It was one of twelve cars the owner had. Anyway, I have less than 50 miles on the Nitto's. My only impression so far seems to be a stiffer sidewall. I can feel a firmer ride, good or bad. To black out the tail lights, there is a product by VHT paints called Nightshades. On top of that I also used VHT's clear enamel. The tail lights assemblies are incredibly labor intensive to remove so I went the route of taping off around them and all the way up past the convertible top. There was enough room between the lights and the mounts to work in the painter's tape. The actual painting was quite easy, three coats of each. Surprisingly, plenty of light shine through.

Your car looks really nice. Your personal touch's make it your own. That's an important thing to consider.
I am quite happy to do minor touches and not go crazy with with items that are wow feel good items you can not benefit from unless you track your car
or drive it like the track on the street.
Basically get no return on your money even if you keep the car except bragging rights.
Looks like a perfect match on the Firesand Orange. Not sure if it'll be too much with my wheels. Thinking about black with silver decals.
Your car would look awesome with the matching calipers. Already looks fantastic but IMO the color match will take it over the top. Go for it, if you don’t like it you can always repaint them black.

Yeah, I've been back and forth on this. But seeing these guy's cars with the orange, I'm going to go that way. And like you said, I can always repaint them.

My paint is EAT. How long will it last? I'm out of the country on business and won't be home for about a month or so. I'd take it from you so you're not out, but I don't want it to go bad on me before I get a chance to use it.

Btw what wheels do you have on your car. I am asking because based on the picture it looks like you have some orange in your wheels.
I would like to see a bigger picture of your wheels.

I have color matched Avant Garde M632 wheels. They came on the car when I bought it in December. I also have the factory Tornado in gloss black rims that came in boxes.
