Default Car Broken Into - Question About Window Replacement

My car was broken into Friday night while parked in the wild (that's what I get for not valet parking).........the culprit(s) shattered the passenger door glass with a glass breaking tool. Luckily, they only got away with my IPhone charger cord, the mount and the cable for my radar detector.

I called the dealership and the parts representative mentioned there are two replacement door glass options available: one for $1450 and the other for $418. He couldn't tell me what the difference between the two are. Has anyone else had to replace either door glass or know what the difference between the two might be?

Thanks in advance!

The coupe only has one glass variant, and the convertible two:

T2R19357, RH vert, less hood, £520 retail.
T2R5062 -> T2R13815, RH vert, other, £154 retail.
T2R7476, RH coupe, £154 retail.

Not having a convertible model I am not certain what the term "hood" means in that regard, but maybe it makes sense to you? Maybe some different roof options?

Thank you! I need to call the dealership and verify what I was told on Saturday. Unless the tax/import fees are insane, what I was quoted doesn't match up with your quoted price in pounds to dollars. Perhaps the dealership has a huge markup or was including labor costs as well.

Jaguarparts.com in the USA (Texas) shows 'vert glass at less than $300 USD. (List price is $315)

I just spoke to the Parts Department here at the local dealership. The correct model is T2R13815 for $412. The $1400 model I mentioned is for the Project 7 just in case someone experiences this misfortune with one of those.

That makes sense. The P7 has no hood (roof).

Not very Likely they would break the glass on a P7, just have to reach in and grab.

when this happened to me, the thiefs also managed to destroy the leather as well. i would check all of the door panels and seat cushion for any rips or tears from the glass. also glass shards got into the a/c vents so that had to be cleaned out ... my insurance paid out like $7k when this happened to me.
