This is the problem with ceramic brakes. They do that. If yours is doing it way too much then I don’t know but a simple way to try solving it is hammering the brakes a few times.

YES. And clean/hose them off real well (assuming they are not piping hot)

Mine started at 16K. If I wash the car they are good for some time. I also give the brakes a good rip once in a while. It will go away.

A bit of noise is a small price to pay for no dust!

don't hammer your brakes.. if you chip the rotors then say goodbye to 10k

edit: i thought he meant hammering with an actual hammer

LOL, what do you think @usgpru27 meant when he said to 'rip' them once in a while???

Had the same issue -- check out this thread:

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f...-miles-157813/

There's a TSB on this issue.

Do you have the CCM brakes?
Also that TSB makes no sense at all, it first of all says "Squeal noise from rear brakes - 380mm brake discs" when the rear "super performance" (iron) brakes are 376 mm not 380 mm (the front "super performance" and "high performance" brake discs are 380 mm) while the rear CCM brake discs are 395 mm (IIRC), then it says "with: high performance brakes" when the rear "high performance" brakes are 326 mm.
In summary that TSB not only has nothing to do with CCM brakes it is a complete dog's breakfast!

It probably doesn't matter what that TSB actually applies to. Those are the same steps one would use to resolve the squeaking brake issue on any car.
