Hello ; Was looking at my battery to find a date code. Car is a 2017 base manufactured in Jan. 2016. Battery was made in Italy. Stamped code on it is 552121. Maybe it's time to change it ? I noticed this battery has a gas vent tube. Should I hook up a alternate 12 volt source to the car while I change the battery as to not lose any settings ?

The only settings you will lose is the center display setting, and maybe the window auto-up feature. Both are easy to reset.
