Default Daylight Saving Time

I was sure with all the Incontrol and other electronics that my clock would be adjusted for DST. But no. I had to do it manually.

I really hope this wasn't a serious post.

I had to change mine today and am just now recovering from the experience. This is worse than the absence of fuchsia in the ambient lighting's color palette. Worse even than my discovery that what the manual calls "stealth" has nothing to do with police radar.

I'm with you, lizzardo, a buyback is the least they can do.

LMAO . . . well done all, funny stuff.

My time change angst today was a bit different. I've completely lost track of all the dozens of clocks that automatically change vs. those that do not. Before I went to bed last night, I changed all the ones I thought needed changing last night, only to find that about 5 of them fell back again automatically at 2am, so they all needed to be changed again today.

Now in addition to all my other first world problems, I need to now keep track of which ones are automatic, vs. those that are manual. Thus, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank JLR for a clock I only needed to change once ! :-)

In all seriousness, truly a small thing. However, my 2010 and my 2014 Acura MDX vehicles not only do this, they will also change with time zones automatically while on the road.

I recall a Sunday Blondie strip from years ago where Dagwood went around changing all the clocks for the end of DST. At the end, someone asked him how he enjoyed his extra hour over the weekend. His answer: "I spent it changing clocks."

I feel like Dagwood. My wife is almost a clock hoarder and I had over 15 to change not counting the car.
