Do I have the black pack?
Hi guys, I bought my F-type used and not sure if I have the black pack. All the trim is black but they seem to be not painted. They seemed to be wrapped as in places it starts to slightly peel. Is OEM black pack painted or wrapped? I am assuming it is painted but I seem to have the S badge missing from the center console plate which is a feature of the black pack.
I have the Black Pack and it is definitely paint not wrap.
Also I don't think the S on the centre console has anything to do with black pack or not, my understanding is the S on the console was standard (on an S) but a delete option.

I assumed he was talking about the EXTERIOR black pack (window surrounds, grille surround and side vents) but maybe he was talking about the INTERIOR black pack (which I don't have).
Good point, let me clarify my understanding from when I bought my CPO. The interior would be basically all black (black leather details) + exterior trim (fender vents, and bumper bits). I would bet that anything wrapped, interior or exterior, is not a black pack.

I believe that the black pack was not an option with my Salsa Red, as some of the bits were already black. But that was a long time ago, those brain cells have since been retasked.
I've got interior and exterior black packs on my '16 S.
I believe:
Exterior consists of gloss black hood louvers and side vents. Not sure, but also gloss black side skirts and front lip and rear valence? (I have those, less sure if that's part of the pack.) Nothing is wrapped.
Interior consists of gloss black ac vents, and center console surrounds, and other misc trim. Basically all the stuff that would be chrome/aluminum, and that grey patterned plastic that looks like it wants to be CF but isn't, are all black. No 'S' below the vents, I had always heard that delete was part of the pack.

Mine is a 16 S, it has everything black per the picture except the shifter surround (dark hex), and it has the S on it. But looking at the contract, it doesnt have interior black pack optioned.
Well, some days my whole world is upside down and those are the days on which I drive with the flat part at the top.
