F type tools in trunk
Got a 2014 off lease. It arrived with NO tools in the trunk other than the tyre air pump. Could someone provide a list of what should be there? I need to make sure that I get everything I need. And OH, it didn't have the manuals either.
Thanks

As for the manuals, you should go back to the dealer that sold the car to you or they are available to download on the Jaguar website as PDFs.
Yeah, I was a little miffed that a $100,00 car doesn't have one tool. Nothing, nada, zip, zilch... But I guess at this level, they don't expect that you will lift a finger to fix anything? Just lift that finger to call for help
In addition to the "fix a flat" glue, compressor and wheel lock, I also had a big threaded eyelet bolt (for towing if I recall correctly). I am not sure if it is supposed to be in the trunk, but mine was. Also, mine is a 2015 - not sure about other years.

Carrying a spare on a trip is not an option unless you want to FEDEX your luggage! I did buy a jack and lug wrench from Jaguar, along with a flat repair kit. This way, if I get a flat, I can raise the car to locate the issue, and use a plug to seal it. Beats running the tire goop into the tire. I had to do this once on my MINI and it took 15 minutes in total, a lot more time efficient than waiting for a tow truck or AAA. Now if teh tire is beyond repair, well there is no option but to call a tow.
The small one for the rear is to be discarded and never used (though I still have mine as well). It was designed to be used for initial vehicle shipping only.
