So my new wheel arrived, looks and feels amazing. Same overall circumference, but much thicker in all the right places, lovely leather too.

Any advice on how to swap the trims\button over. Do they just prise off?

You just pry them off.
BTW your new wheel is heated whereas old/present doesn't have suitable harness.
Heating pad is also the reason why it is thicker than non-heated wheel.

Thanks, just wanted to be sure. Will go and get my trim removal tool.

Yeah I knew it was heated, but it sounds expensive and complex to get it working, different slip ring or something. So was just going to fit as is and try to forget I'm half way there........... especially as I often drive in minus zero temperatures with the roof down.
