Default Found an F-Type..........maybe. Need advice.

I've been searching for the "right" F-Type for a while and have found one that is of strong interest. The issue is long distance. I'm in Indiana and the Car is in Jacksonville, FL and I'm unable to travel at this time. I've always been wary of buying any car in/from Florida, but this one is really tempting me. I would like some input from anyone with experience or knowledge on this dealership. I've searched Google and Yelp reviews, and is the norm, hundreds of positive Google reviews, and a very limited number of Yelp reviews many of which are not positive. I take them all with a grain of salt. The only two things I notice in the photos are the rotors appear to be scored, which means new rotors/pads, and maybe a slight case of the "stickies".......no big deal. Otherwise, looks very clean.

So here we go: 2014 Black/tan F-Type V8 S. Da Vinci Automotive, Jacksonville, FL.

Any opinions/experience on this dealership is appreciated, and more importantly, can anyone recommend someone to perform a PPI in the Jacksonville area?
Perhaps there's a board member in the area that could check it out for me? Dinner for you and your spouse is on me.

Thanks in advance.

Default It's an early F

Because this is an early production model, I would not proceed with it unless a knowledgeable F person (or persons) have gone to see it and drive it. Besides the stickies, there are issues with the centre vent grinding while raising/lowering or not working at all; microcracking on the headlight lenses that is NOT repairable; the flanged heater pipes. Is the leather worn on the bolster of the driver's side seat? What condition is the convertible top in and does it raise, lower and store correctly??

What the does CarFax say? How many owners? regularly serviced? Age-related servicing completed? Even though the mileage appears low, components age and they are now 12 years old? TPMS sensors??

Familiarity with the dealer's reputation helps, also suggest asking for some sort of warranty?? 4-6 months??

and MOST important, have you driven an F? you are OK with the peripheral vision, the seating, steering wheel position options, the pedals?

I don't see blind side monitors listed or a backup camera. Not certain about the 'vert but backing up a coupe without a backup camera is not a fun experience. I would think backing up a 'vert with the top up would be similar.

Agree buying any of these cars sight unseen (or at least a PPI from a knowledgeable shop) isn't recommended, not just early cars. Age, yes, always something to consider. Mine is a 2015, guess what - no sticky buttons, still rolling on the original seamed coolant pipe, diff is in good shape, interior is holding up nicely (caveat I do have slightl bolster wear, just about all the cars will have that eventually), no seized vents. It is *all* in how the car was treated.

Thanks for the input so far. Still hoping for a PPI recommendation and opinions on this particular dealer.

Early cars are fine if they are maintained. Build sheet attached if you are wondering what options it has/doesn't have.
