Those don't look bad. Paddle shifter extensions were the first things I added to the car when I got it and I love them.

I fitted very similar ones to my old XFR, but instead of gloss black plastic they were carbon fibre. I was disappointed when I got them though because they turned out to be fake CF and very plasticky, so I removed them after a couple of weeks.
I had also tried metal ones before, in "bare" aluminium, exact same design as posted by FR500GT, they weren't too bad but again they were very light and didn't add any real weight or feel to the paddle shift action (which was what I was really after), so I also removed them after a few weeks.
I suspect the linked ones will also be light and flimsy plastic.

It seems you have two choices. Go with $35 'junk' stick-ons or nice Carbon ones for $400+.

Those actually LOOK nice on that FT with the color match but would look hideous with my gold/orange paddles.

I might be the only one that finds the paddles awkward when driving in the city. That the paddles follow the wheel instead of the stock. I wish the paddles were fixed on the stock. Being my first paddle car, I don't even know if any others are that way.

So going around a 90 corner/city ... sucks. Yes I know - there is always the stick.

They actually look pretty good. Would you mind letting us know where you got them?

On stock mounted vs wheel mounted, I've barely used the paddles when tracking my cars but I found wheel mounted is pretty useful as you barely ever cross your hands over, so your hands stay pretty much where the paddles are. I tend to do the same on twisty roads if I am using the paddles, save where you might have a hairpin bend.
