Default Happy Thanksgiving!

Wishing a happy, safe Thanksgiving to the F-type family. I’ve been very thankful for the F-type for maintaining what little sanity I have throughout this crazy-*** year. 50s and rainy, so it stays in the garage today. But driving it as much as weather allows before winter storage in a few weeks.

Pot roast later - it’s legal in MA. Enjoy the day!

DJS,
All the best to you on this day of thanks.
I am also grateful for my recent purchase into the F-type brotherhood.
But then I thought I would lose my sanity this past week as I discovered my new-to-me Jag's mouse problem.
I had to mentally turn this grief into a positive... heck, I purchased my BRG 6-speed so I could regain my car hobby after years of abstinence.

Look for the story in a separate thread on ripping out the F-type's interior.

Happy Thanksgiving. Yes, raining here in MA but mine will still be out and about because the days are numbered before she gets garaged for four months so only a couple of driving days left.

hey DJS and Jaguny,

I am up here in Burlington VT and pretty separated from the Jaguar mothership.
There are a few Land Rover specialists in VT, but no dealers to speak of.
Do you recommend the dealers down by you in MA or Upstate NY?
I may have to call on the warrantee to upgrade my clutch/flywheel.

I take mine to Rochester, NY which is way west of you. Albany NY looks to be about 3 hours from you. I have no experience with them. Scaborough,. Maine is a dealer I have some experience with as do many of our Maine summer jag tourers. Great support of our touring group. That looks to be 3.5 hrs. Dave, any thoughts?

Happy Thanksgiving! My F-Type has also been part of my therapy program this year, and I'm super thankful for this forum and not feeling alone learning to maintain this beautiful car.

That gives you a reason, not an excuse, to drive the F-Type for 3.5 hours! What's not to like?

I take my cars to Scarborough ME as I don’t like my local dealer (Sudbury Jag.) Good people.

Maine is a great trip, regardless of why you are going. I expect you can find many things to do while your car is serviced. If you need recommendations we have a forum expert and many assistances that can advise. Check any of of the Lobster Run, Blueberry Blast or Ghost Tour threads.

Thanks guys. Great lead on Scarborough JLR.
My brother lives up in Leeds, and I am familiar with the region. I grew up in Rochester, NH.
I will give the dealer a call after Thanksgiving (in plenty of time to plan a service).

It’s so true that the Ftype has made this far more bearable a year. It’s going out tomorrow and all weekend long and will do so until the first snow is forecast. As for dealerships I’ve has Scarborough service mine on the Lobster and Blueberry runs and would head up there again in a heart beat. I’m in PA and look for any and all excuses to go to Maine. Happy Thanksgiving to one and all.

You too everyone. Acquiring my F-Type was one of the lone bright spots in an otherwise terrible year.

I hope everyone (who celebrates Thanksgiving) is having the best Thanksgiving possible in the current situation. I'm having the smallest in my life, just me and my mother. Last year was fairly typical of late, with 19 people. A niece delivered pie in exchange for some turkey, and we shared a distanced champagne cocktail. Things are certainly better than they might be. I'm thankful.
