Default Help with 2020 SVR Exhaust Mods

Hi all,

New member here! I had a 2016 R for three years and recently bought a 2020 SVR a couple weeks ago.

I had no idea there was such a difference in the crackle/pops and even volume of the exhaust after 2018. Obviously I'm a bit disappointed going from a 2016 that sounded incredible to a more expensive titanium system in a newer SVR that is somehow less exciting. I'm open to any/all ideas to mod this to sound better than my old 2016 R. I'm weary of tunes because I only have 11k miles on the SVR and warranty through 2026 with CPO so I want that intact. Any videos of 2019 or newer cars with incredible sound would be hugely appreciated. Thanks everyone!

Default How's this for your ears......

You can see & hear what the SuperSprint exhaust system sounds like. Vicious!

OP: unfortunately all cracks and pops and software related, and like you'd discovered, they all been tuned down from the 18' cars forward. Your only option to get them is via a tune, which you don't want at the moment. Getting a new exhaust system may increase your current volume, but it will not add the pops and sound quality that you had in the 16" car. Just be thankful that you don't have the 20' and later cars, they all have been muted even more than the 18'-20' cars are.

Sounds incredible! Any idea what MY they were running this on? I haven't been able to find many videos of 2018+ models with exhaust mods. I just have no idea with the de-tuned ECU what my car would sound like with any exhaust mods. I get that the pops/bangs won't be there like before, but I definitely want this this crazy loud to compensate! lol

Dear Sir,
The two different model Jaguar F-Type R sports car owners have 2015 and 2016 model year cars. They both purchased the full SuperSprint exhaust system which consists of;
Exhaust muffler (touring valved version)
Mid pipes and the perfectly balanced proprietary 200 cell sport cats by SuperSprint. If you have any questions, please contact me via private message and I will be glad to assist you in any way possible.
Respectfully,
Roberto

Doesn't the 2019 onwards spec cars have a particulate filter in the exhausts ?

I’m trying to figure that out. I’ve seen a video about 2019-2020 euro cars that have the OPF in the cats. I guess I need to request a part diagram for the exhaust on my car to compare part numbers to the euro cars.

Is the issue the exhaust? Or more likely it's in the tune. You could retune to add pops and crackles but that gives some risk of warranty issues.
