Hibernation poll
In an effort to figure out the low battery messages I would like to ask the F Type owners to participate in this poll. You will know the car is in hibernation when the red warning triangle is not lit.

My previous 2015 I believe also did that, while I never tracked because I never had battery issues. The 2016 I have now will not hibernate unless the doors are locked. Whats important is that it hibernates unlocked. I recently forgot to lock my car while in the garage and it killed the battery over Memorial day weekend.

Did some more testing today and I found out the car does finally hibernate after 15 minutes with the doors unlocked. So plugging anything in the ODBII port will keep the car awake while parked.
This topic is interesting to me although I do not (yet) have an F-Type - I have an XK (x150). Perhaps you are already aware of this but the XK - a wonderfully reliable car - needs full battery voltage all the time; if the battery voltage drops, random, totally random symptoms in various electronic modules start to appear: window problems, seats, electric roof, touch screen, warning lights for various systems...and in every case the fault lies with the battery, not the car systems. Jaguar has responded to this issue (not generally found on cars in everyday use but definitely on "weekend" cars and cars used only for short runs) in two ways: 1) on later models it has a warning on the message board that the battery is low and the engine should be started - this message appears while the battery is still quite healthy much as a low fuel warning comes on before you REALLY need it, and 2) by marketing under its own Jaguar brand the CTEK battery maintainer. This unit is also marketed by all the premium manufacturers: Mercedes, Aston Martin, Range Rover, Maserati, BMW, Audi...and for the very same reason. These cars have enormous electrical needs.
The CTEK unit is permanently attached to the battery and is connected when the car is not in use; it can be left plugged in for months at a time. The result is a fully charged battery always and no electrical problems. You can check this on the X150 list. I suspect that the F-type also needs this unit...I know that if I had one of these gorgeous cars (and before too long I might), I will be using a CTEK unit as I do on my XK - which has been 100% trouble free and a delight to own and drive - which is the main reason I do not have an F-Type (yet).

Ok, plugged in BAFX OBDII bluetooth diagnostic interface, drove the car for awhile, pulled out the OBDII and turned off the car, won't hibernate at all anymore....
