Default Jaguar F-Type by SR Auto Group with 21 inch wheels

I like the wheels but not in gold, maybe silver or gray. Do you guys thing the ride comfort will be rough with 21 inch wheels like this?

from article:
This V6-powered black Jaguar F-Type, which appears to be rocking an aero kit as well, has a set of 21-inch PUR RS07 in five double-spoke design and Matte Monaco Gold finish. The design of the wheels gives you a good view of the red brake calipers which kinda clash with the rest of the car.

Yes, the ride will be rougher but, the main issue is the increased potential for wheel damages. If you read these forums you will find an alarming number of posts from Jaguar owners whose 20" wheels have been damaged from normal road conditions.

Looks is one thing, practicality is entirely different.

Probably depends on what counts as "normal" road conditions as to whether the wheels have a limited life.

As to the ride, it looks like the suspension has been modified as well. Are you on good terms with your Chiropractor and Dentist???

Default Lowered

It looks like the wheel tire combo is actually larger, they didn't maintain the same overall diameter. The car doesn't look that much lower but the space around the tire is much tighter from every angle. I don't hate the look but a larger diameter will throw off the speedometer and I'll bet they have some clearance issues with the fender particularly over bumps.

I like the look of this blue F-type with PUR rims and yellow calibers. However, I think 20s are big enough:

IMO I think the trend for oversize rims has turned. 21" rims just look to out of balance and are not practical or functional on either the XK or F-type.

This is the second time I've seen the RS07 rims on an Ftype and I must say, they look like they were made for the car... I sent them an inquiry to see what a set costs because frankly... I want them.

I have the black tornado rims now and my car looks pretty awesome... but a contrasting set of those Monaco gold rims would just make it stand out more than any other car in my town.

Having said that - anyone want a set of 7k mile Tornado rims/tires?

Needs to go up an inch at the back, and half an inch at the front. Nice otherwise.

I think 21's look just right on all the cars pictured in this thread. Not saying I would do wheels that big. I have always limited my thinking to 20's. I want to enjoy driving without thinking about it. But the look is hot.
