LS swap anyone?
Long version: Anything is possible with enough money but it would take squillions (well at least several $100,000) to achieve and end up with a driveable car.
Swapping the engine is easy - the problem is that it's not just the engine. ECU, transmission, driveshaft, dash interface, it goes on and on. Is it doable, sure, Cheap, no.

yea I was thinking just that. I’ve already done an ls swap-with a holley terminator x the drivetrain part is easy but I’m sure the electronics and body controls would be really complicated. Ive had my eyes on the F Type for awhile and will most likely just get a v6 model since I do want the manual trans and take it from there.
The difficulty is likely to be with the integrated electronics. Putting that aside for a bit, what would an LS gain you over a supercharged V8 with up to 575HP in STOCK form? And clearly well North of 650HP with mods.
Even the mighty, large displacement, $23,000, 454ci, race fuel only, LSx aftermarket engine family would fall short in normally aspirated form.

just read the thread on ls swapped f-type, the short answer is i have ls swapped a 2014 jaguar f type for an ls 3 but for competition use only! it is actually smaller than the v6 and lighter! its mated to a Hewland ITGC sequential gear box and runs a Bill Daily dry sump set up. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask
