Default Navigation last location

When I get in the car after not being in it for a few hours the navigation section on my Home Screen says it’s trying to route me back to my last location, this could hone a friend’s house et. How can I stop this from doing this so it just displays the street I’m on.
thanks in advance.

Do you finish the nav at the end of your journey (i.e. stop guidance if it hasn't said "you have reached your destination") or just turn it off? My nav has never tried to direct me at switch-on - it always expects me to take the initiative.

I don’t set a destination as I’ve not needed to yet and I have cleared all recent destinations and home address. As I said this is on the Home Screen which is displaying navigation radio and phone. I have to go into the navigation menu play about with a few buttons and then it’s not there anymore and it’s back to displaying the street names I’m on.

Same is happening with my 2021 F type. Dealer said it is difficult but he will try to help! Really? Any other thoughts?

What year and model? Different years have different software.

Normally it's because the system has an unfinished journey. Should be able to simply press "menu" when on the nav screen and then "end guidance" Does this not work?

No this isn’t an opinion as I haven’t set a route, and it’s changing it’s destination depending on where I was last, it’s like it’s asking if I want to go back to my previous location

Maybe try setting a home location and it will stop trying to set all your locations as a home.

I did try that but made no difference. It’s really weird because once I get that screen cleared so it’s just displaying the street names if I turn the car off and leave it for half an hour then go back to it. It’s okay but if I’ve left the car for more than two hours and drive somewhere then go back to it then it wants to take me back to its previous location.
