Need Help Diagnosing Airbag Light
As the title suggests, I am having trouble finding the source for why my airbag light is on for my 2016 F-type convertible (v6). The airbag status indicator close to the rear view mirror shows that both airbags are off when I am sitting in the driver seat or when I am outside of the car. But it does show that the passenger airbag is on when I sit in that seat. With that in mind, my gut tells me that it’s either a problem with the driver occupant sensor or the clock spring.
A few months ago I replaced the evaporator core, compressor, and condenser. Obviously that means I took A LOT of components off the car. I’m wondering if I missed an electrical connection somewhere when reassembling but I have no idea where to start. Does anyone happen to know where exactly the driver occupant sensor line goes to? Specifically, where in the car?
I had to remove the clock spring as well and I wonder if I did something wrong when putting it back. All of my other steering wheel controls work just fine so I wonder if that means it’s likely something else. Has anyone ever had an airbag problem originate from a bad clock spring without any other issues being present?
The last thing I’ve been wondering about is which fuses I should be checking. I checked a few of the obvious ones but couldn’t find any that were blown or missing. But it’s very possible I missed one or took one out and forgot to put it back.
Any advice at all would be helpful. I don’t have any diagnostic tools except OBD and I live very far from a dealership. And to save everyone time, the battery is fully charged!

If you're worried that the airbag light isn't on for the driver, well, since the driver's seat is always occupied when the car is driven, I'd have thought the option to have the airbag off is pointless. Apologies if I've misunderstood your question.
