Looks likely to be the future trend away from ICEs. Less maintenance to perform as well.

Not surprised by this, it is undoubtedly the future for all vehicles.
Once they get the supercapictors and/or batteries sorted for quick charging, long range and long life the ICE will look like the steam age.
Didn’t say I was happy, just facing the inevitable.

A hybrid like the NSX would be interesting - gas powered rear, electric powered front....

Remember the thread about how to control the deafening noise level when starting the F-Type in a garage ?

I'm fine with an EV, but 2022 et seq is too far out to be of current interest. I only hope it is as good looking as the C,D,E, and F-Types when it arrives. I wonder if there will be a Dynamic Sound Package for the unreconstituted.

I don't see them selling that many electric F-types. Charge infrastructure is not in place yet. Battery tech still not there to offer weight/range. However, straight line acceleration will likely be jaw-dropping.

+1. Most of my F-Type seat time is long haul day trips or cross country, and back road twisty taming. Battery tech is not there yet. Would render the car useless for the track. Maybe the tech will be there in 4-5 years.

At least there won't be any complaints about loss of pops and crackles.

Just look at the commitment Jaguar has made to Formula E. *Sigh*

Less maintenance to perform as well.
Though many Tesla owners haven't experienced that.
