3) Probably it’s just me dumb and the following works as designed, but when I park at low speeds towards a wall, the front parktronic stays silent till I press the button, and sometimes after that it shows me that I am in the red zone already. Happens from time to time, there’s surely some pattern, but I can’t figure it out.

My Audi _always_ triggers it with no exceptions in such cases.

Drivers window switch has failed on the second click press for automatic window up. It works for automatic window down though..
Is there a known fix for this?
Just started at around 19300kms

The auto-up programming will occasionally get lost when the battery is disconnected.

As I have commented a few times before this procedure has never worked for me unless or until I am actually driving the car.

No battery disconnected for me. Just enjoyed a spirited drive with the cars and coffee meetup and voila, it stopped working. Fixed now.

Interesting.
I performed the procedure with the car running and in a few different ways. First and second time dropping the window normally....didnt work.
3rd time i dropped the window with the one touch function and followed through with the rest of the procedure and it worked.
All good now.

God, this one really been pissing me off since recently.
Sometimes the right mirror doesn't fully come back from dip position and then if you had this symptom, and you start driving you can be sure that it will move to its uppermost position at some point, so you have to return it back and save to seat memory again. Happens from time to time, no pattern found.
Also somethimes the steering wheel doesn't go down when you close the door. But this happens rarer, doesn't bother yet.

Hope this is fixed in newer software updates. Mine car is 2017 MY.

I gave up on the reverse dip as it dips too much to be useful for me and it's no longer user-adjustable. Can't help with the steering wheel as I don't like or use the auto mode.

Why is it not adjustable anymore? Software or hardware related?

No idea. Early manuals stated that, once adjusted, the position would be remembered. Later manuals still said that but weren't true, but by the time of my MY18 the manual states you can adjust it but it won't be remembered. I found the feature very useful on my 2010 XKR, but the F-Type is a failure for me on this point.

Ditto. I found the feature very useful on my 2013 XF but doesn't function as stated in the manual for my 2018 F-Type. Hopefully Jaguar will rectify at some point and I'll put it on my list when the annual service comes up.

You're lucky - my 2018 manual explicitly states the adjusted setting won't be saved.

nb: for anyone that experiences the outage of autonomous driving features like I experienced earlier in this thread, my issue was a dead/broken camera in the driver's side-view mirror. just for posterity. =)

I don't know why I;m lucky to have the feature stated as available in the manual but not operative. In either case it doesn't work, contrary to what this page from my manual indicates.

I meant that at least you have it in writing to complain about the lack, mine won't let me do that!

Yeah, that's what I thought you meant, and I didn't mean to come across negatively toward you, but as far as my avenue(s) to complain, I don't see them as likely to provide any satisfaction.

I've had a 2018 R from new that I totaled at 15,000 miles/eighteen months. Before the crash, it needed two O2 sensor replacements, within a few months of each other.

I currently have a 2017 SVR at 5,500 miles. I am the second owner. So far, the car has needed two O2 sensor replacements, once under my ownership, once under previous ownership. Again, within a few months of each other. I still have this car so who knows how many more times the O2 sensor will fail. Hopefully before July 2021, when the warranty will expire.

This vid is some 6 months old now but I hadn't seen it before or any report of it on this forum:
Not a bad summary of F-Type reliability problems and guess what, his primary research tool was this very forum!
Although he gets it a bit wrong/confused about the genesis of the V6 from the V8 and he makes the age old mistake that the AJ133 and AJ126 are Ford designed engines.

Default Fuel Injector issues

Something that I have experienced with my 2015 F-Type S is clogged/ open fuel injectors. I've experienced this 3 times, with the last dealer (after arguments with JRNA) replacing all 6 injectors. Each time, the car was running normal, then all of a sudden, low power and lots of white smoke. So much so, I thought I blew a head gasket. IL ove my car, and now that it's out of warranty, I will go aftermarket fuel injectors if need to replace them again!

My favorite cats!
