Question about ambient Lighting
You don't say what model, year, mileage, etc which may make a difference to the answer, but if your car has configurable lighting you can adjust it through the infotainment screen. When you select dynamic mode the lighting goes red, regardless of chosen setting.
Wow! You have a '22 F-type. Not many around yet. How are you liking it so far? Is this your first Jag/F-type?
If you do have the ambient lighting option then be aware that you can only change the settings with the engine running. It's not very exciting though - there's very little choice of colour. I've got it on my MY21 P450 and only added it because it was a very small additional cost - I've changed the colour once I think, but since I rarely drive the car at night I have barely seen the ambient lighting anyway!
EDIT: See below, it's the lights that need to be on, not the engine!

My MY18 handbook says the lights must be on to change settings, not engine running. Maybe another MY variable.

Erm, yeah, you're right. No idea why I thought it was engine running necessary, I just remembered that something had to be on for it to work and I only tried it with the engine running. Assumptions and all that.
Did your car come with the owner's manual? The amount of "how to" information in the manual is simply shocking! 🙂 You will have many more questions as you get to know your car. Check the manual first.
As others have said, you can only change it if you have configurable ambient lighting. It's an option and you may or may not have it. It'll be in the owners manual along with things like how to lock your glove box and Valet mode. And if you don't like thumbing through a book, you can look up things here:
