Probably a good thing considering you wouldn't want the deployable spoiler moving if you have a fixed spoiler in place over it.

Maybe the power plug to the rear spoiler has been disconnected?
A have disconnected my plug on purpose to permanently disable the spoiler, and if/when I hit 100 mph the warning message "spoiler not available" pops up, and this is normal.
So did you hit 100 mph a couple of weeks ago?

I have cut the spoiler mechanism motor to not show any warnings but 2 weeks ago the warning showed up after I hit 100 mph and the car stopped the acceleration after 120 mph !!

This is normal behavior. The car is sensing that the spoiler is not coming up, so it puts restrictions on it (I thought it was at 130). There is more you need to do, but as I don't have a fixed spoiler, I don't remember the additional step off hand.

More information needed!
Where are you?
What exact model of F-Type?
Have you had it over 100 mph before (you imply yes)?
Have you taken the car into the dealer recently for some work (eg service or warranty repair)?
Assuming you have had it over 100 mph before something must have changed not long ago for the message to suddenly appear, we just need to figure out what that change was.

Thanks for that, but still not clear on one thing.
We know this is the first time you have had the warning message, but was it the first time over 100 mph, or have you had it over 100 mph once/some/many times before?

Default Stock jaguar spoiler a better change

It is now available out of accessory catalog. When it is put on, the lifting motors, etc stay on piece you remove. Less than 10 min to change back and no reaso to cut any wires. Cost $1400 and real jaguar

With the actuating motor removed, do you get the "spoiler not available" warning? That would reduce the limited top speed. (a real draw back when we congregate in Maine )

No, you do not get a warning because the factory spoiler kit comes with a bypass unit. I had this installed on my car when I added the Paramount CF Wing. The bypass unit will also allow the "R" model to go well above 100 mph without getting any warnings or triggering a speed limiter... don't ask me how I know

I got mine from Paramount Performance. It was an OEM Jaguar part. Unfortunately I tossed out the box that had the part number on it. I want to say that the cost from Paramount was about $350 US, but worth it to do it the right way especially on the “R” where speed is limited if the spoiler is inoperable. This unit bypasses all factory programmed functions.
