Default Should have a Targa-top option

The coupe is the better looking of the 2 offerings; but it would be even better if they offered it with a Targa-top option. Anyone agree?

I would be interested to see what it looks like. Can be tacky and inconvenient to store the targa pieces. I agree the f type coupe is the better looking but much less fun than the coupe

or you can go the porsche "targa" route, instead of removable pieces, the whole roof just slides back over the hatch

Or... a hard targa top for winter that gets stored in the garage, and a soft roll-up targa top for emergency rain use in the summer.

It has been rendered a couple of times. I think it looks weird, distracts from the overall design, and would be a hell of a wind catcher.

I liked the look of my twin turbo supra with the targa top off but it really was a pita getting it on and off and storing it. I recall one time when the car was not parked on a level surface and getting get on was impossible due to body flex.

This is huge waste. Go full hard roof or go with manual panels. New Porsche Targa is the worst of both worlds - extra weight, less trunk space and still no full hard top so you could take it through a car wash or leave it outside in the winter and not have to worry about salt eating at the fabric.

Or just hard top 'roof' lid for the winter that latches on top of folded top. Some of my classic roadsters have one, why couldn't we have one for F-type!?

(because they don't have rear latch points due to permanently attached soft top at the back)
