My top wont latch to the header. The top rises normally and then stops just prior to latching. Then an error message shows in the dash. If I shut the car off, wait a half hour, then start it the top will then finish the cycle and latch.
Has anyone else had this problem? It has already been to the dealer. They said the electronics had to be reset. Sounds like they don't know whats wrong. Is there a capacitor that might be bad? Its going back in next week.

 

With a car under warranty, this is entirely not your problem and no point in diagnosing it. It can be one of a million different things - sensors, controllers, alignment.

Whatever you do, don't accept any kind of BS explanation from the dealer - anything other than perfect operation is not normal. If it isn't fixed, don't take the car back and keep riding the loaner, as it costs them money.
