Default Turn off the auto-stop/start permanently?

Is there a way to permanently turn off the engine auto-stop/start functionality? I'm talking about the button with an A and arrow circling around it. It's the most obnoxious thing!

There are threads relating to this - try searching. If you have an older F-type, which has a 2nd battery for the ECO/Start-stop, you can just disconnect the 2nd battery. Not sure when they stopped using a 2nd battery for this.

Thanks for the reply. I searched and found a couple of threads, but it doesn't sound like anyone ever found a way to disable it on 2016+, only on the earlier models with the separate battery. One person mentioned something about a fuse, but it doesn't sound like much came of that.

I haven't opened up my trunk carpet to check, but that true with 2016+ models as well? Because I thought that plug didn't exist in those newer model years based on the other threads I was reading...

We do it on most of our tunes. Everyone hates it!

Thanks Malbec! (wine lover, perhaps?)
I disconnected the plug immediately and tested it out. Perfect.
Our other cars that have auto stop/start include a button to disarm the setting. I was disappointed this car didn't.
This resolves it completely!

It's really a non-issue on the MT's since all the right conditions have to exist for the engine to shut down. Even if it does shut down just tap the clutch to restart.

Yes am a wine lover.
It’s “Tel” on the forum who deserves the thanks. Pretty sure he was the one who posted how to do it. I just saved the information.
