This is cars and caffeine week here in San Jose. A bunch of nice cars and one other F-Type V8S. If you see the silver pickup I'd be careful if he wants to race, it had a blown viper engine in it. Also found a very nice '67 XK-E in one of the shops ready for a dyno run. Made me miss the one I used to have.

 

I have yet to see one on the road but with next week being Car Week here,I bet that changes...

 

I'm going to the Project 7 unveiling in Monterey so there will be at least two there (Jaguar will likely show up in force).

 

Damn...wish I had my car!

Still very rare in SF, but it's kinda funny how small the community is here.
I think I get my car detailed at the same place as alex_g. Was at a party yesterday at a friend's place and saw the same car in the garage at that building (he lives there I think).

Separately, i pulled into 25 Lusk last week and the valet there mentioned a certain polaris white R coupe which I'm pretty sure belongs to shift :-)

And of course, everyone knows Rob Enderle!
swajames, if you do any M&A work there's a good chance you and i might have cross paths in the past too!

Where do you guys get your cars detail in San Francisco? I've been going to California Detailing in Hayes Valley but always looking for other options. Was almost going to go to C&C today but went for drive instead.

 

Keatley detail. Have used them for years and they haven't let me down. I actually live in Hayes Valley but don't use California detailing.
Their monthly subscription is a pretty good way to do it.
