Default Well Jag HQ did something pretty amazing for me: assembly line build photos!

Long story short is that my 2016MY had some *REALLY* weird engine issues that resulted in me not having my car for 3 months in one stretch, and far longer total in the 8 times I took it in to "resolve" the issue. It triggered lemon law, and Jaguar did what any luxury brand should do... recognize the error, and fully take responsibility. They will take my 2016 vehicle near the end of its warranty at 40K+ miles, and going over and beyond lemon law to basically just swap out my old car for a 2019MY. It was quite the process, and upon delivery they're going to swap out my steering wheel, my rims/tires, and short shifter.

But in the process, I casually asked my customer service support rep if there's any chance they could take pics of the vehicle getting built, and she told me I ruined the surprise.

She had never done it, but had thought it would be cool if they could relate the build to me. So, apparently, I officially have pictures of my car being built and rolling off the line! I thought I would share. It's an amazing way to create loyalty, build brand, and I am just FLOORED. So cool. This basically sold one of their electric cars, frankly. My wife is looking to counteract the damage I am doing to the environment with my car, and it seems to be a lovely solution in light of them being so amazing and cool. =) Thought you guys might get a kick out of it!

Really amazed. I think I might create a hardcover photo book. =) The brogue seats look more reddish than I thought, but I am very pleased with them, despite previous apprehensions.

And, one of the images might have figured out my vanity plate: RWD Man. I was advised against my initial thought of MANTRNNY, being in the SF Bay Area. It might have sent mixed signals. LOL

I KNOW RIGHT?!?!? What a really cool "extra mile" moment. That stuff doesn't happen very often. Also, I REALLY like the white circular tire protector. Might leave it on. LOL

If you're considering electric in the family, have you driven the e-Pace yet? I really liked it. Not enough to give up the dinosaur-burner yet, but very nice.

Consider yourself quite lucky my friend! Maybe they've turned things around in the last 3 years, but I certainly would never buy a car from them again after my terrible HQ experience. I hope things have changed and this just isn't an anomaly.

This is just amazing! Wonderful. And you will love the Racing Green with Brogue (which is what I have). A great ending -or beginning - to your story.

I was concerned it was too much darker than my tan/camel interiors that better matched the top. But man, it looks AWESOME, and cooled seats? Yes please!

That is pretty cool. I've had a totally opposite experience and will never buy Jaguar again.

Jaguar NA officially voided my warranty when all I have done to the car is bolt on exhaust (VAP). The real reason is that they did not want to tear open the top end of the engine to see where the ticking is coming from.

Not to derail your thread I am very happy for you. Just saying Jaguar failed me. Glad it worked out for you.

Hi, Jean (no I have not forgotten) !!!

You've got to be joking me... How is that legal? Did you try to fight it at all?
