Default British Racing Green

Hi,

Anyone have a Jaguar in British Racing Green? I'm looking for the color code off of the door sticker. I want to paint my motorcycle!

HGZ is Jaguar Racing Green (like mine) which is a bit lighter green.

Jaguar have had many very different shades they called British Racing Green over the years. My XK is the current shade of British Racing Green used on the XK Signature and the current F-Type. Code is HGY.

An unusual colour. It can apear anything from highly metallic green to black depending on the light.

Original BRG as seen on the Le Mans Jaguars in the 50s was not metallic. It is a very dark green, and when I had an Austin 1100 car in the 70s (my first car, a real "banger" BTW), its colour was called Connaught Green, but it was very similar. The next time I had a green car was my 2003 XJ6 bought in 2010, that was in Jaguar Racing Green a much lighter metallic colour and very attractive.

My X200 is British Racing Green with HGD as the colour code, which is non-metallic.

Thanks everyone for the feedback! It's between the HGZ metallic and the Buckinghamshire Green which is an Aston Martin color.

Sorry, I’m a long way away from my cars. The shade on my S-type is that darker, flat shade. Classic. So pretty. The ‘yellow-green’ of jaguar racing green, metallic is pretty but modern; that was on the xjr. But everyone migrates to the xkr and I think it must be the colour...
Down here I’ve seen many enfields and triumphs in that army khaki green... also so classic looking.
