Fuel Line for Brake Line?
I need to cut 4 short pieces of rubber hose for the non-pressurized brake lines from the reservoir to the master cylinder. No one in town seems to have brake specific rubber hose, but I was told high quality fuel line will work just as well.

I know EXACTLY the pieces you are referring to, and YES, it will suffice.
Eventually the brake fluid will "leech" thru this hose, but it takes about 12 months.
I use EFI rated 6mm hose, and have never had fluid contamination issues. On our S2 and XJ-S I eliminated those metal pipes and simple ran that hose from the container to the master cylinder direct, less joints to weep was my thinking.

+1 on this. There's too much variation in the materials used in generic fuel line, no guarantee that they all will stand up to quirks of brake fluid.
Thanks to you all. I wnet with the blue braided clutch/brake liners often used for porsche/vw applications. Now, I just need to find a suitable gasket for my reservoir cap. So far, no good.
I am getting there. "If it was easy, anyone could do it."
