hello i have jaguar sdd, i think latest version from forum over here... i have vxdiag and open port 2.0
today i tried scanning x type, unfortunately no luck when i enter vin on, sdd , software try to load older software and it doesnt work , can i install separately older ids software is it working with open port 2.0 or vxdiag or not, ?
i have jaguar license for vxdiag,
vxdiag doip se, i think it emulates original interfaces.
whats the best ids version i can use for windows 11 x64 if it can run at all?

today car was x type diesel year 2005, is it even possible to read it or i need genuine interface and windows xp ids software?

 

Without a TERADYNE VCM you are forced to use SDD 125 or later with a J2534 device.
A VCM is required from IDS version 42 to 118.5 and SDD to version 124. A J2534 device can use SDD version 125 onward.

 

Hi for my version SSD v164, what IDS version i can install and use with open port 2.0, scan matik 2 pro clone , or vxdiag vcx doip se and J2534.

 

You cannot use IDS.
You must use SDD 125 onward.
The early SDD SHOULD revert to Legacy IDS for older cars.

 

On my SSD version 164 no legacy software for IDS.so it cant load at all.. i can attach photos if needed

from ssd i cant open ids but i manually opened ids,
but i have new issue, please help how to resolve it i typed car vin, started tabman.exe

VCX se doip , to read jaguar x type year 2002 is it even possible ?

So i guess communication switching between new ssd and old ids is kinda broken, but now starts i need password how to get password?

 

Never used SDD so I can't help. (only use WDS or IDS on an old XP Dell laptop)

 

I believe you need Windows XP, Service Pack 2....but that might have been for my specific chinese cloned Mongoose, which only worked a few times....

 

So may be windows is my problem i tried on windows xp 3 virtual machine such a frustration tried on vm ware , hyper v
and what else virtual box... such complex stuff, cant get it working i can only open ids from tabman.exe manually and same issue asks for password... tried version 131. i also orderred mangoose is it working cloned?
