Just saw the Forum Sponsor post on engine oil

Which oil do you use in your car? Which oil filter?

Castrol GTX MAGNATEC looks interesting. I've always used Castrol Edge Synthetic in my cars. But, with the 2001 XK8 I am wondering if I should change.

Any oil that meets the jag spec for your car will be fine. Any. If you prefer another, that's for you.

Remember that no matter which oil you choose, make sure it makes you happy as your car couldn't care less.
