On the engine compartment Identification Plate there are four numbers,
CAR: PIF 26488BW
BODY: 4 F 45 54
ENGINE: 7F 3747-9
AUTOMATIC TRANS: 16936

With absolutely no other information available, the last Body Series 4F with Engine Series 7F I can recall is the Jaguar 420 of 1966-69:

None of those are VIN numbers which puts it before 1978 for a Jaguar.
