porting intake and exhaust ducts in the heads
crankshaft machining
working the flywheel with lightening and balancing
and... more

probably in the future I will do that too! but in the meantime, help me to upgrade porting to my M112
all my upgrades I'm under the supervision of FERLITO RACING TEAM ( in their racing car, by regulation of Superstars Series championship they were not allowed to modify the compressor so they did not have a great experience on this).

Hi!
I am not an expert but have tried porting several Eaton M-112. My experience is that the air volum flow is restricted by the rpm twise the volum to the supercharger. But i have porting gen 3 and 4. Gen 3. produced 485 hp With a 4,0 engine and gen 4.produced 485+ hp. I have not dyno tested the 4,2 engine With the gen. 4, but the pressure is actually higher than i had before With the 4,0 engine. The freim Wheel is biger on the crankshaft on the 4,2 engine. And i use the least freim Wheel on the supercharger. And the pressure do not drop at high rpm. The pressure is 16-17 psi. I also have ported everthing, love restricted exhaust, 4,0 camshafts ++.
My Gen 4 supercharger experience is: Inlet, reduce the intake around the needle bearings and port match. Outlet, make the V-shape bigger, 3-4 mm at both edges and important to match/follow the angle to the rotors. This on my set up keep the pressure up at high rpm, but is not so agressive at low rpm.
I also have recoated the rotors on the supercharger, the pressure rice after recoating.
And i also use water/alcohol injection in hot days, the pressure also rice some.
Regards
Magne

Thanks for always giving your encouragement! However, with the support of the Ferlito team I think I'm in good hands! They have won many races even without upgrade supercharger! We will try to do our best ... 😊😊😊😊😊

There's your opportunity to prove me wrong ;-). let Ferlito do some pre dyno and after, and with the costs, and prove us all wrong, that would be great for our community!
In good spirit I would love to see honest/properly tested feedback on changes, and after 20 years maybe Ferlito is able to show something on porting the M112 for our cars.
If that isn't the encouragement you or ferlito needs, I have no idea what else to do to serve the community ;-

I do not think Ferlito needs to prove to you what he does. I'm only sorry to hear again that you never miss an opportunity to make yourself unpleasant. We know ALL that your twin screw kit is fabulous! But you can also accept the fact that we do different things from yours without specifying on the uselessness of what we do each time. We will do our trials, our mistakes but leave us in peace please! Ferlito is known all over the world for being a private team that has excelled on the official teams. I think you should have more respect of the others.

For all the rest, just don't bother (again unless you want more supercharger noise), better to spend this amount on cams or better intakes, that's where you get actual hp.
Just my 2 cents ;-)

What can I say, I am NOT selling anything, except some free advice here on how you can spend $1000 more wisely if you want hp, but I see you have your mind make up, so go for it!

However the title of my post is "porting eaton m122". I therefore ask you to stick to my post request. For other issues you will open your post where we can discuss about others things

In the emails you sent to me you asked about 6000 euros for your kit. Of course you sell! But nobody has ever seen your invoice. Besides, if you were such a great benefactor without looking for a profit through the forum, you would display the photos and drawings of all the parts of the kit so that all of us, if we wanted, could do it without buying it from you. Instead this does not happen.

Check the posts, who brought up a twin-screw?
I fully agree to stay on topic
As you brought up some more here, I just do a quick response to get your facts right:
- I DO NOT SELL TWIN-SCREW kits anymore, although last year I offered to do a LAST RUN and that is over now. So if you want one you need to wait for others to build them, I take it its clear now? This was all stated in my mails and on the forum here.
- The kit was more expensive though, and my profit about 10%, sorry if that would be to much to ask as appreciation and part of my development costs.
- There are enough detailed pictures around, anyone can make one from that, its NOT hidden.
PS its M112, instead of M122

This is getting weird, I even followed your rule that you are only allowed to post on your request...

You asked for the dyno test of Ferlito! What does it mean to port my m112? Closed topic. (news for the forum: the twin screw kit you can find on sale here:
TL Power Upgrades - Tom Lenthall Ltd - Jaguar Land Rover Specialist
TL Power Upgrades - Tom Lenthall Ltd - Jaguar Land Rover Specialist
Anything else I can help with?
Glad you noted my Dyno comment, nice bridge to bring this back to topic: I take it Ferlito does do its research where they help you, and that would mean you measure what you do, so as they use the same M112, they may have dyno results showing what porting may have done if they did that. If they haven't, they could do it on yours as they supervise your project right?
No one to my knowledge has ever reported any gains from porting our M112, the most vague response you get from resellers is that at most it may cool down the charge.
The cooling isn't much, a water/meth kit will be much more effective at that, and you avoid the extra noise (unless you like that) from porting.
The Dynos I've seen show no difference or even a little less.
Spend your money wisely, if its true power you want (which I always thought you wanted), then better save up for a TS Kit if someone is going to make them, or as suggested work on the cams/intake.
Do what you want, so go for it!

I broke the engine due to a wrong ECU mapping. the business owner will pay for the damage that caused me. So now I'm forced to rebuild the engine (I did not want to say it but I'm forced to explain what happened to me). .
since I have to rebuild it, we will also make the necessary upgrades (forged pistons, connecting rods, and much more) but it was not my intention to do it, but now I am forced and I will try to get the greatest benefits from this misfortune.
I have the M112 in my hand. I wanted to do something with it. that's why my request.
