Default Who here has wired up a Boost A Pump?

I just ordered a GT500 Kenne Bell Boost A Pump for my 2000 XJR.

I wanted to get ready and get whatever info I can before it arrives.

I understand I will use a pressure/boost switch to activate, and splice into the power feed lines for the pumps.

Update 7/29/13
Jim Lombardi (thanks again Jim) posted this schematic for me https://www.dropbox.com/s/7075tcbswn...nformation.jpg which shows the likely candidates for splicing into are the orange and brown with green stripe wires after they come out of the relays and before the pumps.

When this is installed I will report back so everyone who wishes to "travel" this route can have the benefit of "one who has gone this way before..."

I've always run Bosch 044 in aggressive build or a MK4 supra twin turbo pump.

BTW, there was a guy running dual 44's with dual #10 to the pumps and a shared #10 ground. He changed to dual #10 grounds and picked up 0.5 to 0.8 volts at the pump with no other changes.

That's pretty good evidence that the wiring has to be fully sorted instead of, or before, installing a BAP.

i'm all about large wiring for fuel pumps and relays, a popular mod back around 10-12yrs ago was ,adding more ground connections, with #8 wire, some guys say it helped stray electronic signals from getting into ECUs,or other places, acted like a shield of sorts.
