another app question/problem
Ok fellows, I have been using the Internet Brands app for quite awhile now without any hiccups. A few days ago I started experiencing the following:
I log into the app, goto "S Type" or any other site page, I can see all the threads without problems. On a few of the threads I click to read no problem, I click on others and receive the message "Error the remote server sent an unknown response. This could be a result of the forum software plugin being outdated or having a conflict".
The above message only happens to this forum. Other forums I have visit have no problems and operate as usual.
I have uninstalled app and reinstalled a number of times with no luck. I have read the comments at the app store where this has been happening to others as well without any resolution. I cannot believe its my Android only choosing this forum to reek havoc on.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thank you

Unfortunately, the Parse Errors are still happening network wide and the cause of the issue is more complicated than we expected. The good news is that the issue is leading us to accelerate the launch our new mobile app, which we're now calling Garage Talk. The new app offers the same functionality as our current one, but with a cleaned up, snappier interface. We've been developing it for the past year or so and were originally planning to launch it at the start of summer. However, now that these Parse Errors are happening, we decided to roll it out to select sites as soon as possible, including JaguarForums.
I'll keep you posted on GarageTalk's launch once we work out the specific date. In the meantime, please bare with us
Thanks!

The problem is related to the number of posts, attachments & pictures in the thread you are trying to view. A thread with only 1 or 2 posts is ok, but when it gets "too big" the app crashes. The only way around it in the meantime is to view the forum with the "mobile version" on your phone's browser.

The older application is no longer supported as we have finally finished developing the new replacement application.
The Android version was approved recently and can be found here:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.internetbrands.android.autocomm&hl= en
Apple is dragging their feet but we hope they will approve our new, Garage Talk, app in the next week. We have held out announcing anything until both are live.
Sorry for the delay. We did not expect issues with the older app this close to releasing the replacement.

another app question/problem
First and second attempt to download/install seemed as if only half the app installed. I saw directories and topics, clicked on a random thread, the authors name would appear without any text. I checked in other directories and got the same. I uninstalled both times.
Third download/install seems to have cleared everything up on my Android Mini. So far so good with app.
I will navigate around and will report back.

Guess it's still early days for the new app.
Just loaded it on my iPhone 6, it's crashed three times in about 10 minutes.
My first intial feedback is the "current threads" of the old app is missing.
You can look at "new posts" but it's the exact same problem as using this function on the website, if you read a post/thread it disappears from the list of results in "new posts"
I prefer to see all posts, including ones i've read. This is possible via the website from "Quick Links --> Todays Posts" and via the old app under the "current threads" tab. But is missing from the new app.
Actually i'd like to take this opportunity to once again ask for read posts/threads to be returned to the "new posts" results, with the unread threads in bold, the read threads non-bolded, exactly how it works on every other vbulletin forum, apart from the IB ones...
Thanks.
